The idea for this scheme was born from meeting with a variety of people living in Koh Samui, who have said many times that they admire what Rotary does and achieves, but cannot find the time to attend regular meetings. Such people are usually business people who are able to give financial support, or indeed volunteer support on an irregular basis. Such people are offered the chance to become ‘Friends of Rotary Club of Koh Samui’, and make an annual donation, or offer their services when required.
